Performance

The performance of a vehicle depends on various parts that together play a significant role in the movement of the vehicle. Various parts like the Transmission, Suspension, Axle, wheels and more keep the vehicle running efficiently and responsible in making every drive packed with the finest performance. Keeping all these vital components related to vehicle performance in good condition is as important as that of the vehicle’s engine. When it comes to performance, right from the clutch to suspension, you will find the find the leading brands of genuine spare parts with us.

Clutch: In a manual vehicle, the clutch transfers rotational power from the engine all the way to the vehicle’s wheels. It is the vehicle’s working machinery, it plays an important role. The clutch engages and disengages power transmission between the engine and transmission; and briefly disconnects, or separates the engine from the drivetrain.

Manual Transmission: This system in a vehicle is used to change gears to operate the movement of the vehicle. It is always in the control of the driver. A manual transmission allows the driver to manually shift the vehicle’s different gears, using a clutch pedal and shift knob. From slow speeds to high, the manual transmission shifts gears according to the need of the driver.

Automatic Transmission: The automatic transmission in a vehicle is activated when the driver selects D. The shifting of gears happens without the interference of the driver. When the transmission is in the D or the drive position, the driver has only to depress the accelerator pedal. By doing this the car will move ahead with increased speeds and the gear will shift on its own. Similarly when he depresses the brake, the car will reduces speed and the gear will automatically be shifted to lower gears.

Gears: Gears are a system that transmits power from one part of the vehicle’s machine to the other. Depending on the choice of speed, the driver shifts the gear to choice actions like forward movement, speed change, reverse and park. The condition of the gears and its upkeep is a very vital affair. Depending on the make and model, the gear type will vary.

Propeller Shaft: The vehicle’s propeller shaft is a component of the vehicle drivetrain. It delivers torque to the wheels keeping the vehicle moving forward. Every vehicle depending on the make and model will have a different propeller shaft configuration. What ever make or model a vehicle may be, you can find the propeller shaft part with us.

Rear Axle Shaft: This rear axle in a vehicle is tasked with delivering power to the driving wheels in rear wheel drive of All Wheel Drive (AWD) type vehicles. The rear axle is made up of two parts. Both are designed to stay connected to the differential. Normally in all vehicles the rear axle is made to rotate with the vehicle’s wheels.

Differential Lock: Differential lock is basically provided in 4WD vehicles. A locking differential is designed to lock both wheels on an axle together. By doing this, the differential lock makes both wheels turn together unlike an open differential. Thereby forcing both the wheels to turn in unison.

Front Axle: In every vehicle, the front axle is designed to bear the weight of the front portion of the vehicle. This allows the vehicle to absorb shocks that are caused due to varied road terrains and surface variations. It also encourages better steering and overall handling capability in many cases.

Brakes: A vehicle’s brakes are one of the critical parts of any vehicle. It’s key purpose is to slow down the vehicle or bring it to a halt when required the most. The condition of the brakes is very important and proper care should be taken to ensure its efficiency. Tight brakes can cause sudden jerks in the car and be uncomfortable for the passengers and loose brakes can cause delay in slowing down. Maintaining the right levels of braking ability is important.

Suspension: a vehicle suspension system connects the wheels to the frame or body. It plays a big role in offering good quality rides, safety and comfort for all occupants. The suspension system also acts to absorb any jolts from uneven surfaces on the road or off the road too.

Wheel Disc:  A wheel ha a tyre, rim and a hubcap used to propel the car. A fifth wheel is also provided as a spare. The wheel discs are available in many sizes and designs depending on the vehicle model.
